About Us

Strawn & Associates, LLC is a full-service bookkeeping business with 2 locations. We are headquartered in Manhattan, Kansas with a satellite office located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Founded in 2006 by the Strawn family, the firm employs three professional bookkeepers who utilize on-line programs including QuickBooks and HomeBase as well as industry specific specialty software like BuilderTrend. We serve a wide variety of clients including contractors, salons, liquor stores, realtors, and many other small businesses.

Services

We offer a wide range of services including general bookkeeping, payroll, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, loan tracking, job tracking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, as well as sales tax, payroll tax, and financial reports. (Income tax is referred to CPA's)

Principals

Julia Strawn, Co-Proprietor/Bookkeeper

Juila established Strawn and Associates in 2006 with her daughter Michelle. She brings over 30 years' bookkeeping experience both in the company and before. She has served as a CASA Advocate, Williamsburg HOA board member, and Lake Irene Preservation Association Minnesota board member. Julia enjoys spending time with her husband, Bob, and their 2 children Michelle and John. Their five grandsons are the fulfillment of their family. Each one is so different with their gifts to share. She also enjoys yoga, walking, golf, reading and spending time at their cabin in Minnesota.

Michelle Strawn-Crowl, Proprietor/Bookkeeper

Michelle established Strawn and Associates in 2006 with her mother Julia. Her background is in business and marketing with 28 years of experience in retail management and marketing. She was a store manager and over loss prevention at a national sporting goods chain for some time. She has 3 wonderful boys that keep her very busy with sports and other activities. She has 1 grandson that she adores. She loves to travel across the country, but the beach is her forever happy place! She loves the outdoors, fishing, all sports and even a little NASCAR. She loves all things KSU! She currently resides in Northwest Arkansas with an office in Fort Smith, AR.

Tina Koch, Account Manager/Bookkeeper

Tina has been with Strawn & Associates since 2012. After graduating from KSU, she gained experience trying out different opportunities before finding her niche in bookkeeping. She currently serves in her local PEO Chapter and volunteers at her kids' school. She lives in Frankfort with her husband and 3 children. She spends much of her time outside of work attending her kids' sporting events and other activities. In her free time, Tina enjoys reading, going to the gym and spending time with her family.
